American Psycho – The Patrick Bateman Workout Routine

American Psycho Patrick Bateman Workout RoutineThe following workout routine is inspired by Patrick Bateman from the book/movie American Psycho as part of his much acclaimed morning routine.

It’s our take on a 15 minute workout plan that can be completed inside your own home 2-3 times a week whilst your morning coffee is brewing.

Designed for the high flyers in life who have a busy schedule, but need to keep themselves in shape and at the top of their game.

All that’s required is a pair of dumbbells and an optional facemask for full effect.

 

The Simple Patrick Bateman Workout

Repeat the following circuit 3 times in total with a 1 minute rest period in-between each circuit.

15 x Press-ups

15 x Sit-ups

15 x Squats

15 x Dumbbell Rows

15 x Dumbbell Shoulder Presses

15 x Dumbbell Biceps Curls

Other optional exercises, Lunges, Calf Raises, Side lateral raises and if you have a means to do pull-ups then great!

Or the Bateman Split

Split 1:

Repeat the following circuit 3 times in total with a 1 minute rest period in-between each circuit.

15 x Press-ups

15 x Squats

15 x Dumbbell Shoulder Presses

15 x Straight arm pullovers

15 x Dumbbell Biceps Curls

Split 2:

Repeat the following circuit 3 times in total with a 1 minute rest period in-between each circuit.

14 x lunges (7 for each leg)

15 x Sit-ups

15 x Dumbbell Rows

15 x Side lateral dumbbell raises

15 x Calf Raises

Other optional exercises, if you have a means to do pull-ups then then we highly recommend adding them to the routine!
